WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT! a video by Year 6 students

As you will see from the post on our main Fairlop Primary blog, we've been very busy as a School Council ensuring parents don't park outside our school. Our video shows us with our bells and whistles and shouting "Don't park here, children are near!"

Three students in Year Six - Amar, Kanishka and Neel have made a video about the dangers of not wearing a seat belt, which they showed to parents attending the Parent Consultation meeting on 10th March.

Two other students - Joshua and Tahsin from Year 5 - also made some resources and a speech to children in Reception classes to explain the dangers of not using seat belts.

The video sends a powerful message about this important issue, but care needs to be taken when viewing with young children. It shows clips of what happens during a car accident when you are not belted in, which may be distressful and upsetting.
